How to pay - international students

The University offers several ways for international students to pay fees. Note that all payments should be made in pounds sterling.

1. Pay online

Pay in advance using our ePayment facility. Please quote your University student number, name and date of birth when making any payments to the University. All major credit cards are accepted - details are on the ePayment page.

2. Pay by bank transfer

Bank-to-bank transfer is one of the quickest ways to make payment. Please see the 'University of Wolverhampton Notification of Payment Advice' form included with your acceptance letter from the International Office. You can also download the notification of payment form (Word - 40k - opens in new window or Right click - Save target as).

All payments should be made payable to 'The University of Wolverhampton'. Cash should not be sent through the post.

  • Prompt Payment Discount - we offer a 10% Prompt Payment Discount on the costs of tuition fees to International students paying either in full or by instalments.
  • Postgraduate Loyalty Discount - a generous 20% off the cost of tuition fees for students progressing from an undergraduate programme to a postgraduate taught course, where both are studied at the University of Wolverhampton.

Important notes

A non-returnable deposit must be sent after you have received confirmation of an offer.

Course fees paid in full can only be refunded (less the non-returnable deposit) if cancellation is made in writing four weeks before the start of the course. We advise students to take out cancellation insurance.

Students should arrange their own insurance to cover:

  • Medical and health treatment (EU nationals and non-EU students enrolled on a course of six months or more are covered under the British National Health Service)
  • Damage to and loss/theft of personal property/money
  • Delays/cancellations which may affect international flights

However, if you require insurance, this can be arranged for you. Please see our insurance cover.
