City Campus is the place to be on 21 March 2013 - an international celebration coming your way.
The University's annual International Festival is fast approaching. The purpose of this event is to promote internationalisation, sharing the cultural heritages of our 2,500 students from around the world and the richness they bring to our experience.
Thursday 21 March, 10am - 5pm, City Campus
The event is delivered by the students in School of Sport, Performing Arts and Leisure.
All sports activities take place in the Sports Hall, with the exception of table tennis, which will take place in the squash court.
Last year included a range of similar activities including a zumba challenge linking up Japan, Malaysia and Cyprus for an hour of exercise and great fun had by all! There was also a research inspired talk on 'Black Country to Red Earth' by Author Candi Miller who spun a storytelling thread from the coalfields of the West Midlands to the red dunes of Namibia.
For more information on how you can take part and to see what is going on, keep watching this page or contact us for more information at internationalfestival@wlv.ac.uk.
We hope lots of our students will participate again this year and come and enjoy this international celebration.
