Biographical summary

Shaun Galloway is the head of the BSc Sport coaching program at the University of Wolverhampton. He also is the head of the same programme being run in Singapore at the Asian Pacific School of Sport and Business.

Shaun –originally from Canada- has lived in: Japan, Australia, Greece, Hungary, Kuwait and now the United Kingdom for the past 20 years. He has predominately played ice hockey (tier 2) and competed in karate (internationally), though he has played at a competitive level in a number of sports: snowboarding, indoor / beach volleyball, wrestling, football (soccer) and just recently American football.

Shaun has a number of coaching certifications, however, for 6 years he had been the head coach for the University track and field club bring the team from 112 position to 9th overall two years ago (with the men’s team finishing 5th overall). Currently, he coaches an afterschool club teaching life-skills / positive youth development through sport.
