About the speaker

Tom IlubeCybercrime expert Tom Ilube is Managing Director, Consumer Markets at Callcredit, the private equity back credit referencing agency, and founder of its new venture, Noddle, currently transforming the world of consumer credit reports.

Previously, Tom was CEO/founder of online identity protection company Garlik, selected as a World Economic Forum, Davos 2008 Technology Pioneer; a European Red Herring 100 company and a Netxplorateur 2008 Top 10 company.

Tom helped found and served as Chief Information Officer of world-leading online bank Egg plc and has also held roles with Goldman Sachs, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and The London Stock Exchange.

He spearheaded the creation of new digital media and technology school, Hammersmith Academy, where he is Chair of Governors. Tom is also Chairman of the African Gifted Foundation. He was made a doctor of technology by the University of Wolverhampton in 2005.
