Employability

More than 84% of our graduating class of 2011 are already in work or continuing their studies

In difficult economic times graduates are less likely to be unemployed than non-graduates and we are here to help our new students and graduates into the world of work during and after your studies.

We are committed to providing you with access to employers and experts, through the relevance of what you study here, real-world briefs for projects and competitions, you'll bring real-world insight to the business you represent, and an adaptable, professional attitude to work.

As a University of Wolverhampton graduate you'll be digitally literate, knowledgeable and enterprising, and focused on succeeding in your professional and personal pursuits.

Work experience while you study

Many of our courses offer specific work placement experience.

In addition, every student has the opportunity to access advice and support through our nationally-accredited Careers and Employment Centre.

We can help you find part-time work and opportunities to volunteer and gain valuable, relevant experience, earn some cash and add that 'wow' factor to your CV.

Through Active Volunteers you can get involved in a worthwhile community activity. Volunteering is also an opportunity to demonstrate your personal commitment, initiative, leadership and problem-solving skills away from an academic setting; just the sort of experience future employers look for.
