Biographical SummaryAde Oriade

Ade Oriade is a senior lecturer in tourism and Trans-national Education (TNE) Programmes Manager at the University of Wolverhampton. 

Having worked in the industry in different capacities, Ade brought these experiences to bear in delivering services and operations management modules.

Ade specialises in quality management in tourism, he also has special interest in Tourism/Hospitality career analysis and sustainable tourism development.

His current research works focus on conceptualisation of quality and its relationship with other service constructs such as satisfaction, value, equity and behavioural intentions.

Teaching responsibilities

Ade teaches across the Leisure Industries programme portfolio. He teaches on Event, Hospitality and Tourism Management. 

Non teaching responsibilities

Ade is the Leisure Industries Department representative on SQEC sub-committee for programmes validation, and Trans-national Education (TNE) Programmes Manager responsible for BA International Hospitality Management and BA Sports Management – both programmes are run with University partners in Singapore. 

Research Interests

There are three main research areas on which Ade focuses, they include:

  • Quality management in tourism and events
  • Career development and analysis in tourism/hospitality
  • Sustainable tourism development
