Active Volunteers

Our Active Volunteers' programme enables you to gain new skills and valuable experiences by volunteering with local voluntary and community groups.

The University's strong commitment to the community is demonstrated through the many volunteering activities of students and staff, who share their existing skills and expertise while enhancing a sense of community involvement.

Our service is available to all students and staff at the University.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering your time and energy to work with others gives something back to the community in which you live, work or study.

Credits and certificates

Opportunities for staff

Opening times

We are open at the Careers and Employment Centre in the Student Services Gateway (MB) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday all year round (except Bank Holidays).
