Our team of careers advisers and information staff is here to help you investigate your careers options, sort out your career plans and develop the important skills you need to make these plans happen. We offer practical support at all stages of your job applications.
We work with you throughout your course here and continue to offer support after you have graduated.
You can arrange to see a qualified careers adviser to discuss any issues related to your careers or jobseeking. Advisers are available Monday to Friday throughout the year, including vacations. Just ring us on 01902 321414 on the day you want to see the adviser, and we will book an appointment for you.
We also offer appointments at Walsall, normally two days a week during term time. Visit the Student Office/Student Services Gateway at Walsall (WA) or phone 01902 323135 to find out when the adviser is next available.

You can ask careers related questions online through our Ask Us service
We run a programme of careers talks and workshops on a wide range of topics. See our Jobs and Events database to find out what's coming up. Look out for news of our new careers and personal development courses such as Brand New You, our 3 day course on personal branding and personality types.
You can find lots of information to help you with your career on this website. We recommend links to other sites and make our own publications available for you to download.
We also have a well-stocked careers library in our Careers Centre, with reference books, publications for you to take away, PCs for you to use for your careers research and applications and facilities for you to watch careers DVDs.
We are open at our centre in the Student Services Gateway (MB) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday all year round (except Bank Holidays). We are also available at Walsall, where we are based alongside the Student Office in WA; times vary at Walsall, so please check before visiting us there.
