Financial Support for International and European Union Students (2013/14)

To support your study, EU students can apply for a tuition fee loan and there are discount schemes available to international students.

European Union Students

EU students can apply for a student loan for fees, also known as a tuition fee loan.

International (Non-EU) Students

As an international student, there are two discount schemes from which you could benefit.

Prompt payment discount scheme

If you're an international applicant* who has an unconditional acceptance letter, you can reduce your tuition fee by 10% with our Prompt Payment Discount Scheme.

All international students who pay at least £5,000 by the dates below, and comply with relevant payment instructions could claim the Prompt Payment Discount.

To take advantage of the Scheme:

Settle the remainder of your tuition fee no later than 4 October 2013 for a September/October 2013 start (7 February 2014 for a January 2014 start).
Enter into an instalment agreement with the Finance Department to pay the remainder of your tuition fee. You will need to set up this instalment agreement during enrolment and no later than 4 October 2013 for a September/October 2013 start (7 February 2014 for a January 2014 start).

Failure to make payment by the necessary dates will result in the loss of Prompt Payment Discount entitlement and withdrawal of the instalment facility, and the full outstanding balance of tuition fee (including Prompt Payment deduction) will become payable immediately

Loyalty Discount

The University offers a generous 20% Loyalty Discount* to students progressing from an undergraduate programme to a taught postgraduate programme, where both courses are studied at the University of Wolverhampton.

* Students who receive a loyalty discount are not entitled to any further discount or Bursary.
