Part-time undergraduate home/EU students could benefit from a Government-sponsored tuition fee loan.
The loan is available to part-time undergraduates starting their course on or after 1 September 2012, who are studying from 25% up to 75% of a full-time programme.
Part-time students who started a course before 1 September 2012 can’t get a loan but may get a Fee Grant and Course Grant.
The Government offers a fee grant, to cover tuition fees, and a course grant, to cover study materials etc for undergraduate home/EU students.
Part-time students with specific needs (such as childcare), or in financial need, may be able to apply to the Access to Learning Fund.
These schemes do not apply to international students - see financial support for international students.
