Fees for part-time study 2013/14

Part-time fees for new students starting on undergraduate and postgraduate courses from September 2013.

Undergraduate Home/EU part-time fees

The fees listed apply to the majority of courses. However there can be variations (e.g. if you are studying on an NHS funded course) and you should confirm fees with your Student Office.

Home/EU undergraduate part-time fees (University based) £2,575 (for 50% rate of study)

A 50% rate of undergraduate study is equal to 60 credits.

Postgraduate Home/EU part-time fees 

There are five standard prices for postgraduate taught courses and part-time study is charged on a pro-rata basis. The majority of courses will be subject to a fee of £5,410 (pro-rata), with others allocated to a higher price band.

Home/EU postgraduate - Band 1 (most postgraduate courses) £5,410 pro rata (e.g. £2,705 for 90 credits)
Home/EU postgraduate - Band 2 £6,695 pro rata (e.g. £3,348 for 90 credits)
Home/EU postgraduate - Band 3 £7,470 pro rata (e.g. £3,735 for 90 credits)
Home/EU postgraduate - Band 4 £8,240 pro rata (e.g. £4,120 for 90 credits)
Home/EU postgraduate - Band 5 £9,010 pro rata (e.g. £4,505 for 90 credits)

NHS and some externally-funded courses may fall outside of these price bands. Contact the relevant Student Office for guidance.

How many credits is my course?

  • a student on a 180 credits Masters course will be charged the equivalent of 90 credits per year
  • a student on a 120 credit PG Diploma will be charged the equivalent of 60 credits per year
  • a student on a year long course (e.g. a 60 credit PG Cert or a 20 credit stand alone module) will be charged the full course fee

Loyalty discount
