Top job for Hannah
A University of Wolverhampton student has secured a top training contract at one of the country’s leading law firms.
Hannah Randall, from Stafford, beat off tough competition to gain a position at Martineau Johnson in Birmingham.
The 26-year-old has double the reason to celebrate as she graduated with a First Class LLB (Hons).
The training contract starts in September 2009 and Hannah will train for two years in various aspects of commercial law, before qualifying as a commercial lawyer in September 2011.
Hannah says she was “amazed” when she heard she got the prestigious contract.
“This was the firm I really wanted to work for, so I couldn't have been happier when I heard,” she says.
“I thought the
School of Legal Studies
at the University of Wolverhampton was excellent. The staff were really helpful and obviously passionate about their subjects which made the learning experience more satisfying. I've really enjoyed the LLB (Hons) course and would recommend it to others.”
Brian Mitchell, Dean of the School of Legal Studies, said: “I am very pleased to hear Hannah has secured a training contract. She is held in very high esteem by my colleagues who are delighted with her success. I am confident that Hannah will go on to repeat her academic success throughout all stages of her professional career.”
