Take first steps into Computing
People hoping to return to work after having a family are invited to an event at the University of Wolverhampton.
First Steps into Computing on Tuesday, 1 July 2008 will provide an introduction to courses at the University’s
School of Computing and Information Technology
.
Current and former students will be on hand to share their stories about how it is possible to juggle work with other responsibilities.
Senior Lecturer, Wendy Thain, said: “This event gives those who are thinking of embarking on a Computing course at the University of Wolverhampton a chance to find out how they can fit studying around a busy life already filled with commitments and responsibilities.
“I am frequently asked questions about how often people need to attend and whether there are crèche facilities, and we will cover the answers in a series of short talks at the one-day event.”
The event will take place at Wolverhampton City Campus between 9.30am and 2.30pm. For further information, call 01902 321402 or email
