Developmental work and research activity

Cathie's research interests include the development of the new teaching standards for the post compulsory education sector, particularly as they relate to teachers of literacy and ESOL; bilingual education; use of new technologies in fostering communities of practice with teachers and ESOL learners; reflective practice and teacher identity.
