The Higher Education Academy announces its National Teaching Fellowships and the University is the only institution to have three winners. Dr Deirdre Burke, Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies and Student Support Co-ordinator, Dr Alison Halstead, Dean of Learning and Teaching, and Julie Hughes, Senior Lecturer in Education, receive awards worth £50,000 for their outstanding contribution to learning and teaching. The University is delighted by their success.
