The University announces its new Start Right Bursary scheme which will benefit students joining from September 2006.
 
Dance and sculpture workshops are held at Walsall Campus. They have been organised to give pupils from across the borough, who have been singled out for their talent in the arts, the chance to boost their skills.
 
Young rock band Elixir, consisting of three brothers and their friend, decide to study for a pop music degree at the University in a bid to help their careers and give them industry insight.
