Road Safety Week - don't be a SMOMBIE

Road Safety week is an initiative run by the Students' Union every year and aims to make students aware of the dangers when crossing roads.

The theme for this year’s awareness is specifically looking at pedestrian distraction accidents.

Please don't be a SMOMBIE (smartphone zombie) - look out for the dangers when crossing the road.

As well as highlighting the dangers of not paying attention when crossing the road, the SU is also promoting the safer walking routes around Wolverhampton, such as not using the subways after dark and using the crossings instead.
