Competition: Win Tickets to The Tempest

***WINNERS NOW DRAWN, THANK YOU TO ALL ENTRANTS***

Stafford Festival Shakespeare is offering University of Wolverhampton students the chance to win a pair of tickets to its production of The Tempest on Saturday 8 July. There are two pairs of tickets in total up for grabs!

Acknowledged as Shakespeare’s final solo play, The Tempest is widely celebrated as one of The Bard’s most enchanting works. It follows the story of Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, who becomes stranded on a largely uninhabited island where music, magic and supernatural creatures provide a strange education for him and his young daughter Miranda.

Stafford Festival Shakespeare – sponsored by the University of Wolverhampton - was established in 1991 and is produced by Stafford Gatehouse Theatre and Stafford Borough Council. Performed annually against the dramatic backdrop of Stafford Castle, the event is regarded as one of the largest open-air Shakespeare festivals in Europe.

For your chance to win a pair of tickets to the 2pm performance, please email prizedraw@wlv.ac.uk by 5pm on Friday 16 June 2017 by writing ‘Tempest STUDENT’ in the email subject line and please include your name, student number and contact details in the email. Good luck!

You can find more information and buy tickets for the Festival here.
