Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) give recent graduates the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, build upon existing knowledge and make their mark on projects of strategic importance to their placement company. KTPs offer graduates (called Associates) a fast track into management with real responsibility from day one. As part of a national scheme, KTPs are available across several disciplines including engineering, information technology and environmental sciences.
KEEN is a new project, unique to the West Midlands and is part funded by ERDF. Recent graduates (called Affiliates) have the opportunity to work for a small to medium sized West Midlands business for between 6 to 24 months. KEEN is able to offer opportunities across a wide variety of disciplines including marketing, business process and engineering.
Both knowledge transfer schemes pay a competitive salary and offer an equipment and travel budget helping to equip graduates with the right tools to ensure success. Both Affiliates and Associates are supported throughout the process by an academic mentor and have access to University facilities and resources for the duration of their programme. With KTP over 70% of Associates are offered employment by their host company on a permanent basis at the end of their programme. To find out about the latest vacancies and why KEEN and KTPs offer such fantastic opportunities for ambitious graduates, visit the Knowledge Transfer team on the stand
