We offer lots of support that can help you work towards the Enterprise and Employability Award. If you are doing the award through your course, sessions relating to it will be included in one of your modules.
You can also get support from the careers team at any point of the award, you just need to get into contact!
There is a lot of support you can access while undertaking the award, both in terms of people and documentation.
Download our checklist of what you need to do to achieve the award. Use it to help you plan and monitor your progress.
We want you to achieve the award and we will help you to be successful. You can arrange an interview with a careers adviser to talk about how you are tackling any of the tasks and get feedback before you submit the task for assessment.
If lots of people on a particular course are undertaking the award, academic staff are likely to arrange special sessions to help you meet the criteria.
Whilst completing all levels of the award you can access support from careers advisers, employment, placement and volunteering specialists, and our Enterprise Department.
If you need help finding work experience then The Workplace is the place to go. They advertise part time work, year long and vacation placements/internships and volunteering opportunities. They are located on the MD concourse (as you come through the barriers) and can be contacted on 01902 323400 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
