Sustainable Seafood Certification

The University’s chefs at the Telford Innovation Campus have achieved Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Chain of Custody certification, becoming one of the first universities to do so.

The comprehensive certification programme ensures that seafood served at the Campus can be traced back through the supply chain to a fishery that has been certified as sustainable. The MSC certification is another milestone for the University, which has an active food sustainability policy.
