To have careers and employment guidance from the University and Students’ Union with the opportunity of a placement or other work/volunteering experience during your studies.  

To have at least one afternoon free each week from studies to engage in extra-curricular activities including volunteering, sports, societies, and other opportunities offered by the Students’ Union and University. 

To balance work and University life accordingly, actively taking advantage of the opportunities that are offered. International students should not work more hours than are permitted by their visa  

To engage in these activities to enhance your C.V. and gain new skills that may not be offered through your academic studies.
