Business School hosts regional business leaders Conference

The University of Wolverhampton Business School hosted the prestigious quarterly meeting for the West Midlands Council of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).

Over 40 senior executives from industries across the West Midlands met on 08 March 2016 to shape the economic agenda for the region.

The CBI is the UK's premier business lobbying organisation, providing a voice for employers at a national and international level. The CBI is a confederation of 140 trade associations, alongside larger and medium-sized businesses.

"They are here to provide a voice for business people and their businesses on a national and international level” said Dave Roberts, Principal Consultant, Business Engagement. “As members of the CBI, we are delighted to forge greater links with organisations in the region and hosting the conference at the University was the ideal opportunity to showcase our new Executive Education suite”.

The event took place at the Executive Education suite, within the new premises of the University of Wolverhampton Business School.
