Leadership, Strategy, Managing Change
Prior to joining the teaching staff here at the University of Wolverhampton Business School in 2011, I spent 20 years working in different industry sectors as an executive director, mostly managing director, in the Lift/Lifting Equipment Manufacture and Service sector and the Steel Manufacturing and Construction Equipment Manufacturing sectors. I worked mainly in the B2B engineering sector for large international Companies, based in Finland, the U.S.A. and the Netherlands, both private and publically traded businesses. I travelled extensively with these businesses, all over Europe, USA, Australia, India, China, Africa and the Middle East. Working with the board of directors we crafted and implemented international growth strategies, led transformation and change, including culture change and worked on joint ventures, acquisition/mergers and divestitures.

Currently studying for a PhD at the University of Wolverhampton. My research interest is focussed on organisation culture, its formation and permeation throughout an organisation and its correlation with business performance.
Business Engagement work: Delivered Leading Transformation and Change Module into Goodyear/Dunlop and Birmingham and Solihull NHS Mental Health Trust.Chair of the Trustees for a Shrewsbury based Christian Charity, Hope Initiatives.
