Biography

Dr. Yong Wang BEng(Dist), MEng, PgCert(Res), PhD is currently a Reader in Family Business & Entrepreneurship at Wolverhampton Business School. He serves the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA), the world-leading family business research association, as a Board Member. He is also the founding director of the Sino-Foreign Family Business Research Centre at Beijing Institute of Technology, China and holds the visiting professorship at Hebei University of Technology, China.

He acts as the Co-Editor of the International Journal of Management Practice and serves the Editorial Advisory Board for both Journal of Family Business Management and International Journal of Management Concepts and Philosophy.

Dr. Wang’s teaching, research, and publications focus on family business, entrepreneurship, strategy, and business performance. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Strategic Information System, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Journal of Enterprising Culture, Journal of Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Management Practice, International Journal of Management Concepts and Philosophy, International Journal of Management Cases, as well as others.
