Biography I have worked as a university lecturer in economics and finance for nearly 25 years. Prior to this I taught A level economics and business studies in a sixth form college after completing my Masters degree in finance and investment.

Research interests Corporate governance and specifically boards of directors. My doctoral thesis developed and tested a model examining the impact of board processes and board role performance on board effectiveness for UK listed companies. Sport economics and governance of sports industries.
