|Biography||Samuel has responsibility for module leadership and development. Prior to joining the University of Wolverhampton Business School as a lecturer, he held positions at the University of Leicester and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). He also has extensive experience working in accountancy profession in both private and public sectors. Samuel is research active in the areas of corporate finance, banking competition and credit market performance. He has published in international peer reviewed journals and currently serves as a reviewer for a number of international journals including Emerging Markets Review, The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance and Managerial Finance, amongst others.|

|Research interests||Samuel has broad research interests in capital structure, firm performance, banking competition, credit market performance and Applied Microeconometrics. He is particularly interested in the relationship between capital structure and firm performance under complex product market interactions. He also has strong interests in the interactions between banking competition, information asymmetry and credit market outcomes.|
