Our aim is to promote STEM subjects in order to encourage students to continue their studies in science and engineering based subjects.

We can offer help with:

  • careers fairs
  • conventions and conferences
  • STEM clubs
  • Option workshops/evenings
  • laboratory access

We will be working with schools to develop workshops that provide access to our state-of-the-art Outreach Laboratory, helping you to support the biology, science, physics and chemistry curriculum. Join our teachers’ networks and tell us how we can tailor workshops to your needs.

Example workshops include:

  • Anthropology and DNA
  • Combustion
  • Design your Future
  • DIY DNA
  • Electronics
  • Flock of Robots
  • Forensics
  • Infrared Spectroscopy
  • Motor Sport Workshop
  • Women in Property and Construction

“I just wanted to say thank you for the STEM session on Thursday. The students really enjoyed it and it thoroughly engaged them with forensics. The ladies that delivered the session did a wonderful job of getting the students (and me) involved and I really appreciated them coming in. I look forward to working with you again soon!”

St Michael's , STEM club

“Just wanted to say on behalf of Bishop Milner and the STEM club, how grateful we were that you ran the fingerprinting workshop with the students. They were all showing off their key rings on the Friday to other students and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.

Please keep me in the know about any other events at your University, I will definitely let you know about any specific topics that could benefit from your assistance for the next school year.”

Lisa Cox, teacher at Bishop Milner Catholic School
