Alaa is a holder of a PhD in Civil Engineering & Sustainable Construction Materials. He is also a holder of an MSc Waste Management and a BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering. Alaa has completed a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Academic Practice in Higher Education.

 

Alaa started his employment with the University of Wolverhampton in 2010 as a researcher and is currently a lecturer and module leader of several engineering topics including Hydraulics, Fundamentals of Geotechnics, Water Resources & Supply, and Mathematics for Technologists.

 

Furthermore, he is a Chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) with an extensive work experience in several Civil Engineering fields  including Water/Wastewater Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotechnics, Building Construction, Structural Analysis & Design, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, and Finance & Project Management.
