About

Sophie is a Midwifery lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing at The University of Wolverhampton. Her main teaching areas include the promotion of normality during childbearing, research awareness and breastfeeding.

Sophie is the lead lecturer for breastfeeding and has maintained strong links with UNICEF to ensure the midwifery curriculum remains relevant and reflects contemporary advice. 

Sophie completed her Masters in 2017 which was focused on exploring student midwives views on normality and normal birth.

Sophie is currently the link lecturer for Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
