About

I started working for the University of Wolverhampton in July 2017 as Lecturer in Paramedic Practice. I am a registered Paramedic and qualified Emergency Practitioner, with a varied background of pre-hospital experience.

Most recently I worked as a paramedic and mentor for West Midlands Ambulance Service. Alongside this I was completing placements for my Emergency Practitioner training in a local Emergency Department and a Walk in Centre. Prior to working for the ambulance service I worked for St John Ambulance as a Paramedic and Team Leader for Training and Assurance which was a very varied and rewarding role.

Teaching is something I have always had a passion for and I am looking forward to my career within the university applying my passion for paramedicine in to my passion for teaching, and influencing the future of paramedic practice.
