Trained as a nurse in 1997 and started my working life as a staff nurse in intensive care.

I was seconded to the university as skills lecturer in 2004.

I worked full time as lecturer on the RN/Dip/HE programme at the University of Wolverhampton from 2005-2006 when I became a senior lecturer following completing the PGCE and registering with the NMC as a registered Nurse teacher.

Completing a Masters degree with the focus on teaching through simulated learning. My interest lies in simulation and interprofessional education and learning.

I am currently a doctoral student and aiming to research the emerging role of the Physician associate into the UK health care system
