About

I joined the University of Wolverhampton in September 2015 as SL in Initial Teacher Training - Primary. In school, I was part of the Senior Leadership Team as Phase Leader for Key Stage 1 and Early Years. I was a Lead Teacher for Science in Dudley. I am a Level 3 Forest School Leader and have an interest for Outdoor Learning. I was Science and Outdoor Learning Leader whilst at school.

PGCE Primary, 2003.

BSc (Hons) Psychology, 2000.

Previous professional experience

Institute of Education, Faculty of Education, Health and Welbeing, September 2015 to Present.

Greenfield Primary School, Stourbridge, Dudley LA, 09/03 to 07/15.

Started as class teacher and Science Subject Leader in Key Stage 1. I trained as a Forest School Leader and qualified in 2010 and was part of the local Forest School Network. I was part of the Science Network in Dudley and Stourbridge and became a Lead Teacher for Science in Dudley, offering demonstration lessons and support to teachers and trainees from other settings.

I became Key Stage 1 and Early Years Leader and was part of the SLT.
