About

Dr Sadler-Moore’s expertise lies in the academic and clinical arena of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for practicing Health Professionals, mainly registered Nurses’. Since the mid 1990’s Della has been programme / award leader for a number of post-registration Nursing programmes, her current Programme Leader role is for the MSc Nursing which includes the interim awards; Postgraduate Diploma Advanced Clinical Practice and the Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing. Della’s professional background includes a number of Lecturer-Practitioner roles in both the public and private sector, in these roles she has taken the lead on behalf of the Chief Nurse for organisation wide initiatives including; up-skilling, training needs analysis, appraisal implementation, protocol-based care and evidence based practice change management.

Della has extensive experience, expertise and enthusiasm for Research and Evidence Based Practice Supervision, over her academic career she has supervised in excess of 150 Health Professionals undertaking their final year post-graduate projects. Della buddies / mentored new academic / research supervisors and provided training for new supervisors to take on this important academic role. Della has a passion for  working at the University of Wolverhampton as the philosophy of widening participation and student centred learning resonate with her own clinical and academic course achievements, most of which were awarded by the University of Wolverhampton, enabling her to meet her own career aspirations.

  • Developed systems related to international activities in the School of Health.
  • Contributed for eight years (1997-2005) to international activities in the School of Health through developing a partnership with Seinajoki Polytechnic School of Health in Finland.

  • Co-ordinator for Finnish teacher study tours within the School of Health and clinical partners.

 

Delivered the BSc Hons Health Studies top-up degree for RN’s from South Asian region at Buckingham College. London (2012-2013).
