"On Friday 26th February a selection of students from years 11, 12 and 13 attended the Wolverhampton University Walsall Campus to find out what it would be like to study nursing. During the day we took part in different activities in three of the four different types of nursing.
Overall, we all agree that the trip was a great opportunity to enhance the experiences we already gain in Health and Social care lessons. We are looking forward to a planned trip to the skills rooms and developing our UCAS applications with the universities help and support.
We would like to thank the student nurses for giving us the time and patience to ask them lots of questions and providing us with real life experiences of nursing careers."
Tara, Director of Learning Health and Social Care - Smestow School
