Fully & partially funded bursary opportunities are available for students interested in studying the MRes Sport & Exercise at the University of Wolverhampton.
The MRes Sport & Exercise course aims to develop you as a researcher and reflective, evidence-based practitioner within your specialist area of sport, exercise or coaching science. There is an emphasis on student-led research and modules focused on the application of research within both laboratory and applied settings.
For those who are offered a place on the MRes Sport & Exercise there is the opportunity to apply for the following bursaries. The bursaries cover full or partial course fee costs (as indicated below) and in exchange you will work within the relevant professional institution providing the bursary. Thus the bursaries will enable the successful recipient to gain experience in working within a professional sport environment.

To be considered for the Research Assistant bursary your application for the MRes Sport & Exercise Science and the bursary must be received by midnight 25th August 2017.
Interviews for the bursaries are expected to take place the week commencing 4th September 2017.

Please clearly indicate the bursary you are applying for in the title of the email and on your cover letter. A separate cover letter is required for each bursary you apply for.
Please Note: Your application for the bursaries will not be considered until you have applied for and been accepted onto the full-time MRes Sport & Exercise.
You may apply for the MRes Sport & Exercise at any point up to the commencement of the course. However, to be considered for the above bursaries your application for the MRes Sport & Exercise Science and the bursary must be received by the given bursary application deadline.
