MSc Nursing

The MSc Nursing aims to develop you as a Registered Nurse (RN) to be a flexible and adaptable practitioner, enabling you to engage in new ways of working in relation to health care priorities, and lead and develop practice to ensure patient safeguarding. You will develop a range of core nursing qualities such as caring, compassion, higher level understanding and managing the complexities of nursing work within a constantly evolving health environment.

Attainment of an MSc Nursing in today’s health care environment provides nationally and internationally recognised eligibility to apply for higher level clinical, educational, leadership/management roles within NHS, private healthcare provider organisations and overseas health care organisations – which are increasingly identifying job specifications with essential or desirable characteristics for the applicant to be studying or have attained a Master’s degree.
