This innovative and exciting module will provide the clinician working in any urgent, first contact or emergency care setting with the skills and knowledge required to independently manage a proportion of the patient workload, including children and adults, presenting with undifferentiated illness. It is therefore suitable for nurses and Allied Health Professionals working in urgent care centres, primary care and walk in centres, minor injury units, in emergency departments or in the pre-hospital environment.
You must have 2 years post registration experience as a registered Health Professional in an emergency care setting.
You must also undertake module 6HW073 - Theory into Practice for Emergency Practitioners with this module. The 2017/8 cost for 6HW073 is £610.24. Please select both modules on your application form.
