Promoting the Health of Children and Young People (6NH013)

The module enables you to explore the role of practitioners working with children, young people, families, schools and in other settings. Through studying the module you will extend the theoretical underpinning of public health practice in order to promote the health and well being of children and young people.

You will also have the opportunity to facilitate the development of high levels of professional expertise by building on your previous experiences and through the application of theory to practice. You will be encouraged to demonstrate creativity and innovation in order to plan deliver and evaluate services to meet the health needs of children and young people.
