Preparing for teacher training

There are many ways that you can prepare for teacher training. We have put together a list of things that you can do and courses that you can take to support your application.

Professional Skills Tests

If you are applying for a teacher training course which starts after 1 July 2013 you will need to take the Professional Skills Tests in Numeracy and Literacy as part of the application process, and ensure you have passed them both before the start of the course.

Please Note: It is not required that you have passed these upon application.

For any enquiries about our courses please e-mail education-enquiries@wlv.ac.uk
