The MA Education is a Masters degree programme intended for those with an undergraduate degree and/or a teaching qualification, or significant professional experience who are looking for high quality education CPD to advance their career. It is available in a variety of options so that you can specialise in the most relevant area to you. The Masters in Education programme is made up of 180 credits and has been designed so that you can build your award in three ‘bite-size’ stages: PGCert (60 credits), PGDip (120 Credits), MA (180 Credits).
This MA Professional Practice and Lifelong Education is a Masters degree programme that aims to develop the knowledge, understanding, skills and professional values of participants engaged with lifelong education and professional practice. The programme aims to support the development of critical and reflective dialogue in lifelong education and training. Participants are expected to engage in reflective activities that examine the key literature and research in this field. It is anticipated that participants will synthesise theory and practice in order to actively engage in their own continuing professional development.

The Certificate in Education Post Compulsory Education is a two year course that is undertaken by FE teachers who are already working in the sector and provides the necessary professional accreditation to allow you to carry out a full teaching role.
If you are a practising teacher in the post-compulsory sector the following postgraudate part-time options are available to you. All programmes are offered on a part-tme basis.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and Professional Practice is designed for staff currently working in higher or professional education and whose principal role is in teaching or student support. It is intended to support the practical working needs of staff within an inclusive student-focused learning and teaching environment.
