Interior Design graduate relishing new career.

BA (Hons) Interior Design graduate Isobel Coleman started her first job at Nomique Seating LTD just one month after graduating at University of Wolverhampton.

Her role as Marketing Assistant involves a variety of different activities. From helping to organise photography shoots for their products, creating brochures and other forms of advertising and managing the company’s social media and website pages to improve their internet presence.

Isobel told us: “It’s great that I can use a lot of the skills that I learnt during my degree, along with many others that I am learning on the job.

“Without my degree it would have been very difficult to enter the industry as I didn’t have any contacts within the design industry.  My degree gave me plenty of chance to network, improve and gain new skills, as well as giving me the opportunity for many extra trips that increased my knowledge. For example, being able to go on the furniture trip to Bolton in my second-year at University really set me up for what to expect at Nomique.

“All these things along with the help of my lecturer Robert Cooksey made it possible to walk straight into a job after University.”
