Three final-year Fashion and Textiles students Afshan Ambreen, Mary Skinner and Namrata Bhatia have entered the ‘Diversity Now’ competition embracing diversity through design. The competition is about challenging existing fashion industry dependence on limited body and beauty ideals, and celebrate diverse representations of race, age, size and physical appearance.
Co-founder of the competition, Caryn Franklin, said: “Fashion has the power to embolden the wearer and the viewer.”
Our fashion and textiles students styled and photographed their entries with support from our photography students.
