If you are interested in studying an art based course at University, then visiting the Faculty of Arts at the University of Wolverhampton provides you with insight, knowledge and the skillset to progress onto Higher Education. We offer a wide range of diverse workshops, taster sessions, one-to-one support and aspirational presentations perfect for all Secondary and Post-16 students.

Taster Days & Workshops

We run numerous taster days throughout the academic year, revolving around each of our four schools:

  • Creative Arts
  • Media & Film
  • Performing Arts
  • Humanities

These days provide students with an insight into not only university life, but the breadth of studying an art based course at university. 

If you have a specific subject area in mind, then please do not hesitate to contact the Outreach team. We are more than happy to work with you to put together a tailored programme of workshops and activities, perfectly suited to you and your students needs. Whether this is portfolio support, group crit sessions, one-to-one advice, workshops on the issues in contemporary art or taster session in Motion Capture or Cultural Heritage, we have specialist facilties, technical demonstrators and lecturers ready to help your students explore their creativity.
