Musical Theatre students are busy with their final year productions and are performing to sell-out audiences.
Final year students performed their last production before they graduate. Performing to capacity audiences at the Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton, the cast of 'Spring Awakening' are preparing to take their final bow. This Tony Award winning musical took Broadway by storm when it was released in 2006 and its high energy score and dance routines have kept students on their toes. This final production marks the culmination of their course and the cohort will return in September to take another bow on the graduating platform.
First year students present their end of year production 'Debut' at the Arena Theatre on Tuesday 19th May. The evening's entertainment features a showcase of new works by four local composers. The event has been sponsored by MTWM - Musical Theatre West Midlands - an initiative based at the University which promotes the development and growth of new musical theatre. More info and tickets
