How to find the Open Day

Travelling by car

Junction 9 of the M6 is the nearest motorway junction. Take the A461 towards Walsall and then stay right at the fork onto the A4148 – signposted Birmingham (A34) / Bescot Stadium.

Continue along the A4148 for about 5 minutes (you will pass The Performance Hub on the left) until you reach a double mini-roundabout. Take the first exit and then the first exit again, signposted Walsall town centre. Take the first road on the left (Jesson Road) and then turn left again into Gorway Road. The car park will be on your right.

Travelling by public transport

By train

Walsall station is served by trains from Wolverhampton (via Birmingham) and Rugeley. For timetables visit: National Rail Enquiries

From the train you can take the number 51 bus to Walsall Campus.

To take the 51, cross Park Street and cut through Butlers Passage shopping precinct. This will bring you out with the bus station directly in front of you.

By bus

Most local bus services arrive into Walsall bus station, with routes from Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Dudley, West Bromwich and the outskirts of Walsall. Walsall Campus is served by the number 51 bus, which goes between Birmingham and Walsall bus station along the A34. Information about bus tickets and timetables.

The closest stop to the campus is adjacent to Jesson Road. After alighting, walk along Jesson Road, and take the first left along Gorway Road. This will take you directly to the main campus entrance.

Free campus shuttle

You can catch a free campus shuttle bus during each Open Day to take you between Wolverhampton City, Walsall and Telford Campuses.
