Katharine Clough, Director of External Relations at the University, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the In The City with Wolves FC and the Mander Centre once again. There’s something for all the family at this festive event so we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying themselves.”

Richard Scharenguivel, Centre Manager from the Mander Centre, said: “This will be the third annual In The City Day event, and the Mander Centre are delighted to be hosting the event once again with our partners at Wolverhampton Football club, the University of Wolverhampton and of course Signal 107 Radio station. This event is proof that Wolverhampton is a well connected city with key stakeholders working together to create fun, engaging events for all the family to enjoy.”

Wolves Managing Director Laurie Dalrymple added:  "The club is really looking forward to once again joining up with the University of Wolverhampton and the Mander Centre to celebrate everything that is good about Wolverhampton at this year’s In The City Day.

"This has proved a really successful event previously, and to stage it in Christmas week will surely make the atmosphere even better with so much different and festive entertainment on show.

"Several of the first team players will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photographs, and the event is also supporting Cure Leukaemia, a charity now close to all of our hearts.

"Hopefully as many people as possible from Wolverhampton will pay a visit to the Mander Centre on Thursday and enjoy so many of the positives that the City has to offer.”
