Students along with family and friends will gather in Wolverhampton to mark the occasion over a two day period at the city’s Grand Theatre.

There will be three ceremonies in total. On Wednesday March 23 there will be a ceremony for postgraduate students.

There will then be two further ceremonies on Thursday March 24 in the morning and afternoon for nursing students receiving undergraduate and postgraduate awards.

Each graduation ceremony will begin with a procession of honorary graduates, senior University staff and governors and invited guests through the city.

After each ceremony, students and their families have been invited to attend a drinks reception in the Harrison Learning Centre, the University’s main library, to end their graduation day.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Geoff Layer, said: “It is a privilege to share this important event with our graduates and their families to celebrate their achievements.

“I wish all our graduates a prosperous and successful future. They are the best ambassadors for what this University stands for and I wish them every success.”
