We’re really looked forward to seeing lots of families come along to the city centre to enjoy what promises to be a fabulous event.”

Peter Cornforth, Director of Retail at Benson Elliot, the owner of the Mander Centre, said: “We are delighted to be working with our partners to deliver this important event for Wolverhampton and have organised a number of exciting activities for the day. It is an opportunity for local people to come and find out how we and our partners are working together to celebrate this vibrant and dynamic city.”

Jez Moxey, Chief Executive, Wolves, said, “It’s going to be a great day, which has been organised at the start of the half-term break so we can get as many kids and families in the Mander Centre as possible.

“I know the players involved are looking forward to meeting the supporters and we’ll have plenty of Wolves giveaways and competitions on offer as well. A big thank you to our friends at the Mander Centre and University Wolverhampton and everyone involved.”

Councillor John Reynolds, City of Wolverhampton Council Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: “We are delighted to see a trio of our key partners working closely together to showcase what the city has to offer. It is a great event to get along to during half-term and shows there is something on offer in Wolverhampton for all the family.

“The city is on the up, with £868m investment in the city centre either on site or in the pipeline. This includes the £35million refurbishment of the Mander Centre in the New Year.”
