Business lecture open to public

It will be given by Silke Machold, Professor of Corporate Governance and Joint Head of the University of Wolverhampton’s Management Research Centre.

Professor Machold will take a broad historical, legal and management perspective on boards of directors. Since joining the  in 2001, Prof Machold has developed her research in corporate governance, especially around what makes an effective board.

Her academic career began in European Studies and she completed her doctorate in the area of political economy of transition.

Prof Machold is the editor of the International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics, and previously chaired the Strategic Interest Group in Corporate Governance at the European Academy of Management.

The lecture will be held in MC001, Millennium City Building at the University of Wolverhampton in Stafford Street, Wolverhampton. There will be a reception at 5:30pm and the lecture will be at 6:30pm.
